Attainable Living

Attainable Housing refers to a number of forms that exist along a continuum—
from emergency shelters to transitional housing, to non-market rental (also known
as social or subsidized housing), to formal and informal rental (may include supportive
services) and ending with affordable home ownership.

TBD has designed a number of attainable housing structures such as town homes
high-rise residential and low-rise residential. These projects range from emergency to
transitional to long-term accommodations.

Assisted Living

TBD Architecture + Urban Planning has been involved in the design and production
of all of many Aging in Place/Community Living projects. Residences range from
Independent Living to Assisted Living, Designated Assisted Living (DAL), and Designated
Assisted Living Convertible Units.

The designs of these facilities demand sensitivity to integrate care unit design with
individual residences by breaking down institutional design tendencies for a more
sympathetic, personal and marketable residential aesthetic.
